On my many trips to Koh Samui, the Imperial Boat House was one of the hotels i hold in good memory. I normally like a bit more rustic type of hotels, especially when I am on holiday on an island such as Samui I don't really like to stay at the normal hotel offerings. It just doesn't feel like being on a tropical island. The Imperial Boat House does a good job in blending island feeling with still modern amenities and package the whole thing in a nice hotel.
