Montien Riverside Bangkok Hotel serves very nice view especially at night as the hotel is located in a great view of Chao Phraya River. It is excellent facilities for guests when they have nothing to do at day time. Restaurants are choices, addicted Thai foods. It is a quality hotel with an affordable price which is located on the important river of Thailand. The hotel is clean and Thai stylish. The hotel is really for most visitors who are looking to surf for a cultural sight seeing as it seems one of old spot of Bangkok. You can learn locals who are kind of different than in the city including the people who work in the hotels. They are so welcoming and friendly in a time. It was great resting in the hotel anyways.

Excellent hotel, although a bit out of the way. Very little close by, so be prepared to eat in the hotel, especially for breakfast. The amenities are of a high standard, with rooftop pool, karaoke lounge and several restaurants, although we only had breakfast at the hotel. If possible try to get into the executive rooms, on the Montiens own website it costs you an extra 4,500 Baht per night. If you want just try asking when you check in, I know a couple of travellers that have managed to get it for 1200 Baht per room per night, not bad when you consider it includes breakfast, and a cocktail and canapes in the evening....rooms were lovely too on the 23rd floor. Free shuttle bus into the town and plentiful cheap taxis, dont let where it is put you off.

I enjoyed the Montien Riverside to the fullest. Before I had stayed at the Montien in Pattaya before so I knew this hotel group before and was very satisfied the lasttime. This is why I chose this hotel for Bangkok. In Pattaya the cost was very low compared to the facilities that you got in the Montien. Anyway. I was not disappointed with the Montien Riverside. I like the room designs that are quite modern and use lots of wood material, too. As I said before, the room rates are very reasonable. The food is also good with Asian as well as Western food so don’t worry that you cant eat the spicy Thai food. There is plenty of international food available to choose from. The location at the river is nice as especially in the evening I enjoyed not being located directly in the city and having the river close by. To get to the city it doesn’t take long. Taxis in Bangkok are dead cheap and you can always opt to take the skytrain in case it is bad traffic.
