I stayed at the Marriott Resort & Spa Bangkok Hotel for 4 nights and it wasn't enough. I'm definitely looking to go back sometime soon. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room service was excellent. There are 10 restaurants and bars to choose from so we didn't have a problem dining in the hotel. Buffet breakfast was awesome and offered wide selections of items. Rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, away from the bustling Bangkok city. Complimentary shuttle boat ride was provided that took us to the downtown city and to the skytrain system. I definitely recommend this hotel especially if want a luxury stay and don't mind being in the heart of Bangkok city.

Coming to the Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel Bangkok I could hardly believe that I'm in a city with 10 million citizens. The garden like atmosphere is really making one feel like on an island. Althogh not cheap, compared to international prices, the Marriott is hard to beat. The location is th eonly thingthat you have to compromise. Now its not too bad and it is still possible to reach downtown Bangkok in a taxi but ican take some time. During rushhours it can get very bad and as there is no public transport in this area like a subway or skytrain it is difficult at times. Everything else in this hotel is excellent. I really enjoyed the "Benihana" restaurant which is a Japanese BBQ restaurant where the chefs prepare the food right at your table. It was the best BQ restaurant Japanese style that I have tried so far. Overall, I can recomend this hotel to everybody.
