On Summer this year my family and I stayed at the Grand Taipei Hotel The Hotel was clean and the lobby lounge was decorated in a classic chinese style which was quite beautiful. The room was clean and the bathroom ok but a bit small, our room had a quieter mountain view which was better than a city view.
