Countries of Southeast Asia, Cambodia is bordered by Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. Cambodia is a friendly country called the “Land of Smiles” because the Khmer always have a smile despite the horrors they have lived under the regime and Polpot Khmer Rouge. Cambodia is mainly known for its temples of Angkor, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. A whole area around the temple town of Siem Reap. They were built between the ninth and fifteenth centuries.

The Tonle Sap, considered the largest lake in Asia, is located in the heart of the country and connects the two main towns of Cambodia: Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. It boasts beautiful walks to canoe on the river in the middle of the floating villages

Phnom Penh, the Pearl of the South-East Asia

Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia is situated at the confluence of rivers Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac. Once considered the most pleasant cities built by the French in Indochina, Phnom Penh has managed to retain part of its charm despite the violence of the recent history of Cambodia. The city is a huge green space, dotted with traditional Cambodian villas surrounded by gardens. Wide tree-lined avenues, very moving incite stroll. The silhouette of the Palais Royal is a delight for the eyes. Within the walls: the Silver Pagoda, known for its 5 000 tiles of money from one kilogram each, the Emerald Buddha (the truth of the crystal) and its golden Buddha some 90 kg.

The National Museum of Phom Penh, an elegant red building of 20 years, includes a series of Khmer sculptures, each one more beautiful than the others.

A fifteen kilometers from downtown, to the southwest lie the graves of Choeung Ek-a moving testimony of genocide Khmer where 8 000 skulls are piled in a pyramid of horror in the rough.

Search your favorite hotel in Phnom Penh … more ..

The temples of Angkor

The area of the temples of Angkor is the most beautiful of Cambodia. Angkor is the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire, which flourished from the ninth to the fifteenth century. It has dozens and dozens of temples an incredible rich ornamentation. We must spend at least three days in Siem Reap to see the main temples. The most beautiful are not too far from each other. They are grouped into two circuits created by the Angkor Conservation: The short tour of 15 km and the Grand Circuit of 24 km. Most notable are Angkor Wat, the Bayon with its towers visgaes, Ta Phrom and if you do see a few. But do not miss Bantey Srei, the temple of Preah Khan and women, completely overgrown with vegetation!

The excursion on the Tonle Sap to discover, on board a boat floating village surprisingly similar to a maze of boats.

UNESCO helps preserve, through the world heritage from the past so that we can pass on to future generations. Architectural beauty, technical prowess, or ancient culture, learn some of the hidden treasures of world heritage.

Serengeti National Park in Africa
Natural Park of Tanzania for over 14 000 km2, it includes landscapes of savanna and hundreds of animal and plant species. Elephants, monkeys baboons, lions, birds of all kinds and many others, the park preserves everything that makes the richness of the African continent!

For ecotourism, the best way to discover this exceptional natural heritage is a photo safari. You can see the beauty of the park with an eye advised! This practice has been made famous thanks to the success of photographs by French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, so why not you?

A little-known gem: Slovakia
Nearly a dozen sites Slovak World Heritage by Unesco. Yet this small country wedged between Austria, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine is not known for its cultural and natural treasures.

One of the most magical caves remains magical: waterfalls (Domica), stunning stalactites and stalagmites (Gombasecká), aragonite (Ochtínska), ice grotto …

Later cultural heritage, the country has a castle of the XII century, Spiš, the largest in Europe or Vlkolínec place full of charm for its authentic witness of the architecture of Slovak mountain villages of the past. A visit!

Asia: Tourfan, a marvel of technology … old 2 000 years
In the Chinese province of Xinjiang, Tourfan. Oasis city on the ancient Silk Road, it is in an arid desert area. That does not prevent it from being one of the first cities in the country to produce grapes.
How is it possible then that there never rains?
Thanks to an ingenious irrigation system: the karez. Invented by the Uighur there are more than 2 000 years, a network of canals which collects water from the melting of snow in the Tianshan Mountains and the routes through the city and to the vineyards. Absolutely incredible!

Intangible heritage: sustaining traditions
Unesco also lists other types of assets: the intangible heritage. Its scope, though large, is little known to the public: it covers several areas, including the traditions and oral expressions, techniques of traditional crafts, performing arts, rituals and festive events.

Intangible, yet so essential to the conservation of a culture and traditions, which often are not written in books …

A maritime empire
Venice took off thanks to its seaport and trade of salt (useful for preserving food). She also has an impressive fleet in the Middle Ages and has long participated in the Crusades organized by the papacy. It has acquired comptoirs trade throughout the Mediterranean, has diversified its economy, which was a prosperous city and very attractive. Its population grew, and she took possession of the islands around the area of Rialto, previously the center of the city.

Venice is Venice
As soon as free from the yoke of the Byzantines, Venice took care not s’inféoder to the powerful papacy in Rome. It becomes a republic with institutions. The Doge is the Serene Republic of Venice until the end of his life. He is assisted by advisers, often significant. Visit the Palazzo Ducale is very instructive in this regard.

Venice was then conquered by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1797 before being integrated into the Kingdom of Italy under Austrian authority. She becomes only the 19th century Italian.

Lagoons, islands and bridges
Of course, what makes the charm of Venice, which makes it unique, the islands on which the city of Venice. It is in fact a land imported by the Venetians, who have also drained some of the ground. The foundations of houses are Istrian stone, which is resistant to salt water.
To connect the islands, many bridges were built: the famous Bridge of Sighs, but also the Rialto Bridge, the true economic center of the city. You do not end up going up and down these small bridges. Suffice it to say that good shoes are required for this trip!

Heritage and culture festival
Each city has its neighborhood or its famous monuments: Venice has several, but it’s St. Mark’s Square who wins all the votes. Stroll through the center of the square and admire the front of the Basilica San Marco and his golden statues finely carved. From here you can wander through the narrow streets with medieval charm persists, go up on the Rialto or take a gondola to see the city from the calm waters of the canals.

The city of love
At night, climb aboard one boat-bus, and admire the illuminated palaces along the Grand Canal. A moment to live in two! And it is not Casanova who say the opposite!
Venice is not as museums and monuments to visit, it is also important events in life. Who has heard of the famous Carnival of Venice? Reappeared in 70 years, it is themed every year and takes place in February. However, you will find masks relate to remember throughout the year at meetings of your shopping.

An experience to live
Better than long speeches, the best way to know Venice is undoubtedly to visit it. How to understand the pride Venetians, the charm of its small streets, the playfulness of gondoliers, other than visiting this beautiful city and experiencing?

The volcanic archipelago, located north-east Asia between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan, has forged a culture of originality and an exceptionally rich. However, Japan still seems like a strange country for Westerners. Samurai of the Kamikaze, through Geishas, its culture, history and traditions fascinates us and we intrigue. While respecting their traditions millennia and cultivating their identity, the Japanese have made their country a major world economic powers. “The Land of the Rising Sun” was opened to foreigners until the mid-nineteenth century and a tourist destination remains mysterious and still largely unknown to tourists. But you have more time to lose: get to its scenery, its 4000 islands, a culture which combines the manga and samurai and where cities like Tokyo, retain the traditional habitat and temples, while building, a few meters of shopping malls.

City or mountains? You have the choice!

About 73% of the country consists of mountains, with a string through each of the main islands. The largest Japanese mountain is the famous Mount Fuji (Fujisan) peaked at 3 776 m altitude. Atlasov Island at the north end of the Kuril islands, is a magnificent snowy peak (2 337 m) emerging directly from the sea Because there is so little flat land, many hills and mountains are cultivated on any their height and cities are often taken over where tradition and modernity go hand in hand! Tokyo is a very good example. Visit the Asakusa district with its Senso-ji temple and its traditional shops then head to the district skyscrapers of Shinjuku overlooking the city from the two observatories Tokyo Government Office and made a tour in Shibuya, Harajuku , Omotesando and Ginza for shopping.
In Kyoto the contrast is equally striking temples and shrines of Nikko will amaze you with their colors and delicious restaurants Pontocho satisfy the biggest appetites! During a day visit the Todai-Ji and his great Buddha and walk in the shopping district Naramachi. At nightfall, Osaka and the direction the 39th floor of Umeda Sky Building a garden there with view over the city!
The air of the mountain will make you a crazy and a little hiking on the volcano Fujiyama in the heart of the island Honshu, promises of magical landscapes.

Immersion in Japanese culture

Japanese culture has always fascinated western populations. Come discover first the fighting in sumo, the Japanese sports struggle par excellence, attending the tournament in Tokyo where the biggest wrestlers clash.
You also may be lucky to host a Japanese family who will be a pleasure to serve you mint tea. During the ceremony, which can last for hours, the owner of the house must engage all his being to create “an atmosphere conducive to aesthetic delight, the physical and intellectual stimulation, spiritual and calm of his hosts’ . All you say that the reception is more than warm!
While Japanese cuisine is established not only around the major four ingredients (rice, pasta, fish and soy), it offers a wide variety of original dishes and especially a very healthy food. It is of course impossible to miss sushi and sashimi, both based on fish or seafood, which will be accompanied by sticky rice noodles or Japanese. There are also recipes for fondues, meat in sweet sauce to omelets, etc..

Unlike other Asian countries, the dishes are rarely very spicy.
And as in France, there are regional cuisines and kitchens in different social strata: bowl of noodles or Donburi workers, or Buddhist vegetarian cooking meals finest ryokan (traditional Japanese inn). And if you do not know you use chopsticks, you learn very quickly once Japan. There can not eat with it!
The Shinto and Buddhist temples are genuine haven of peace and invites you to quiet even if you’re not a believer. And all around these temples, many cherry trees (in bloom in April) just brighten more gardens. Found elsewhere, everywhere in major cities, green spaces completely artificial. These gardens take many forms but the most famous garden is the dry Zen temples, consisting of gravel, rocks and bushes.

You can return from Japan of bonsai (miniature trees that cost so dear in Europe!), The famous manga or a bunch of objects Hi-Tech, which the Japanese love but also tourists, especially for very attractive prices stores offer.

Bellissima! From north to south, from east to west, from island to island, Italy is resplendent.
The country is bordered on the north by Switzerland and Austria to the north and west by France.
Country with great landscapes, Italy offers a wide variety of attractions. From north to south, Italy has a very diverse geography. The south (region of Puglia and Calabria), is very dry while the north is a region of lakes and mountains.
Like a museum, the country abounds with ancient sites that would be a shame not to visit. Rome the capital, is stunning. And what about Venice, unique and enchanting! Or Florence, world capital of art: Botticelli, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci … the biggest names in Renaissance painting have left an imprint in Florence.
Victim of its success, the country is full of hotels and campsites. The Italian hotels are often classified into five categories, more refined in the more modest. Campsites are plentiful and their prices vary depending on benefits.
As in many countries, houses and apartments are increasingly likely to accommodate travelers.
Country of cultural and artistic treasures, Italy is also the country’s fashion: shoes, bags, clothes … Italian designers excel in many fields.
Finally, one of the elements essential to the identity Italian cuisine! The pasta, olive oil, coffee course but not only! Bruschetta, crostini, minestra (soup) and Parmesan delight your taste buds!

The circuit in Italy

Like many destinations, tour operators have the advantage of us to enjoy the journey. Many agencies offer tours to the map but nothing prevents you organize your stay. The time factor is in organizing your stay.
Sample price: from Rome to Venice. A few days in Rome, Florence and finally to Venice. Achievable in a week, this circuit is often adopted by travelers.
From north to south or south to north, organize their trip through various themes is an attractive prospect.
Gastronomic holidays (Bologna, Modena, Parma, Florence, the Chianti region) holiday “historic” (Tivoli, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa …), you’ll be delighted!
Finally, make a full rotation of Italy is the best way to discover the country, but this requires having at least one month holiday …

The Italian fashion

Undoubtedly, Italy is the home of fashion and design. If Milan in the 70s had the reputation as the capital of haute couture, Florence today to take over. Valentino, Versace, Prada, Dolce Gabbana … are large claws of the fashion world famous. The country is also famous for its shoes and leather bags. The place is ideal for shopping addicts and fashion. Many rooms reflect this vitality: in Bologna, mid-October stands the international exhibition of leather and accessories, in Bolzano, the festival “Shoe Collection” is the trade fair of footwear, and Florence, mid September, ” Fraganze “is the international exhibition of perfumery.
Luxury automobiles to electric coffee makers, Italian design is on many everyday objects. It is not for nothing that the exhibition design is held each year in Milan.

True country-continent (to get an idea of its territory equivalent to 17 times that of France), the People’s Republic of China is a multi-faceted, multi cultures, located in East Asia. To claim to know this wonderful world, you need more than one trip, in the heart of all its attractions, cultural and historical.

The history of China dates back 5 000 years.

A tip: start first by your visit, such as the Great Wall of China (new wonder of the world!), The imperial army of terracotta Xi’an, the Forbidden City and the wilderness of Xian Juang …

Large and majestic, China is also a country of contrasts, torn between tradition and modernity as evidenced by the huge gap that exists between the city, huge and overcrowded, and the mountains and deserts.

Despite rapid industrialization, we must not forget that China is primarily a rural and agricultural country.

One thing is sure, the most brilliant civilization and one of the oldest in the world guarantees you a radical scenery.

Whether you lost in the crowd of major Chinese cities or to enjoy the silence of the Temple of Heaven (Beijing or Beijing), your journey can be a delight.

The country offers a wide variety of attractions to its visitors: Temples, massive monuments, beautiful gardens, sand dunes (Dunhuang), peaks (Songpan), or alpine lakes (Tian Chi), your mind will be a hit greater diversity.

Diversity is also cultural: China has 56 ethnic groups!
Do not miss the city of Guilin one of the most beautiful cities in the country located on the north east of Guangxi. With its picturesque hills, caves and many rivers the city of Guilin is a delight.

With regard to accommodations, hotels prices are quite reasonable standards and hotels offer good value for money.

However, schools often have little charm. The campgrounds are nonexistent but the hostels are booming.

Come on, bon voyage on the planet China!

Its development has been absorbing small towns and villages nearby. But all have kept their colors, their stories, their daily routine. It is undoubtedly his many faces that makes the irresistible charm of Paris.

To each his Paris!
It is leaving yourself that you will get the best contrasts: Oberkampf down the street in search of a restaurant or a Parisian bistro, and you rub shoulders a population predominantly young, issue of cultural and mixed. If you wish to exit near the Champs-Elysees in a nightclub in fashion or a famous cabaret, you will realize quickly that you just move from one world to another, and that has the luxury of surrounding ‘just as drunkenness previous bar! Finally, a walk in parks and gardens in Paris you will understand why the city is so romantic.
Paris is also a rebel town, marked by the vicissitudes of history, which also shaped the geography of the city. The capital has struggled to adapt to any changes, but it manages to absorb everything, little by little. The Eiffel Tower is probably the best example.

Paris will always be Paris
Paris is above all a city that s’explore, which contemplates. For those who like to visit in the true sense of the term, the city is a big appetite. The possibilities are endless. Historic monuments (including the Chateau de Versailles), a world heritage site, priceless collections to museums like the Louvre, the charms typical neighborhoods, the Seine … Paris has a culture of its own, which, despite the inconvenience associated with urban congestion, allows him to remain in the collective unconscious world’s most beautiful city in the world.

Tell him I love you
Paris is also the city of lovers and romantic holiday. Go shopping to find the gift that will please your soul because the city light, remember, is one of the world capitals of fashion. If your budget does not allow you to play the “Pretty Woman” Place Vendome, wander around the Châtelet! Whatever your tendencies, you find your happiness. But the most beautiful gifts, is that kiss on the Pont Alexandre III that you do not miss him …

Paris mischievous
Paris is a real focused culture, but also with areas. Thus, it has parks and recreation envied by many countries.

Paris is magic
To sleep, it’s always the same old story: either you choose the very best with one of the historic palaces of the city, often copied but never matched, or you play the more modest and unearthed a small hotel in an area a little eccentric. Anyway, the city is so well served by the local transport system, whether it is not a disadvantage for your stay. In addition, you will discover deeper into one area in particular.

For the magic made by Paris on us, humble traveler, is that we humanly can not go around once. Here we go 2, 3, 10 times! If the capital of France is not the most pleasant city to live in everyday life (and again, it is discussed), it is undoubtedly the most wonderful city to discover.

Search Paris Cheap hotels or Luxury hotels and enjoy your Paris Stay !

Freestyle, freeride, snowkite … winter sports evolve! The descent is fun, sports or acrobatic. It becomes especially extreme!

The ski figure!
Today, go “skiing” no longer means only “skiing” substantive or alpine skiing. The trend revealed in recent years is the freestyle, snowboard or so of skiing. More than a sport it is a state of mind. The look is precise, the holding appropriate. Long jacket, neoprene gloves, helmet, mask, it is of extreme, it protects itself.

Practiced in or off-piste terrain, the skier is based on the structures of the station (metal or snow) to perform acrobatics and jumps. Thus reveals Half-pipe (half-pipe carved in the snow), the boardercross (a kind of journey with small jumps and turns).

The fate of ski slopes
Freeriding as its name suggests is a ski that was practiced in the home in complete freedom. For freeriders, the important thing is to leave the tracks too flooded to blend into the snow. This practice is extremely dangerous, many resorts have marked trails but not groomed. This gives the impression of skiers tread virgin snow. Some practice off-piste, it is an extreme sport so dangerous, many precautions must be taken before embarking (weather, snow, etc.).

Skiing flies
With Speedriding, the skier jumping with a glider in the back. This discipline taught on ski areas allowed. Deposited on the summits by helicopter, skiers float above the tracks or fly away.

In snowkite, “kitesurf snow, the skier can be towed by the wind with a sailing kite. This sport is practiced either ski or snowboard. What counts in these sports a new genre, the thrills!

Oasis luxury of 4000 km2, the city has over 300 hotels, 600 plow skies and the biggest covered ski station, witnesses of his hubris and its extravagance without limit.

Identity card
- Capital: Abu Dhabi
- Currency: The dirham
- National holiday: Independence Day, December 2 (1971)
- Hours: When is noon France, the United Arab Emirates it is 14 hours in summer and 15 hours in winter.
- Official language: Arabic
- Religion: 80% of the population follows Sunni Islam, 16% to Shiite Islam. Minority of Christians.

People
- People: 1 200 000

Climate
Types of climate
The climate is hot and humid all year round. From May to September, the heat is suffocating and temperatures regularly flirt with 40 degrees. The heat is more bearable the rest of the year, where rainfall, very low, falling mainly between March and December. Even in winter, temperatures are regularly above 20 degrees.

Geography
Located south of the Arabian Peninsula, Dubai is a coastal town overlooking the Persian Gulf, surrounded by desert.

Area
3 885 km ²

Types of landscape
Beyond the appearance of the surrounding desert, the city of Dubai is above all a work in progress. The countless cranes raised from the sand or on top of the towers, reflect the ongoing transformation of the city. At night, the famous skyline of Dubai takes its value when the skyscrapers housing offices and luxury hotels began to flicker. The bold buildings, the dome ‘Ski Dubai’ - where you can drag on the … real snow, “Palm Jumeirah, the island-shaped palm - are all extravagances that should not overshadow the other Dubai. Thus, the souks, the gold market (souk of gold “) and older neighborhoods (Bastikiya) try to preserve their authenticity, next to the fortress (Al-Fahid, which contains a museum) of palace of Sheikh Said and the old port (Creek), where sleep old dhows, wooden boats (dhows) sometimes used today for minicroisières. Each year from mid-December to early February, the city offers a shopping festival with entertainment force, where prices, that of gold as Oriental carpets and all sorts of popular products, are a clear Diving down.
The Oktoberfest or Fête de la Bière is the largest beer festival in the world. It attracts every year in Germany more than 6 million visitors over a fortnight in the capital of Bavaria, Munich. Far ethyl clichés, it is an opportunity to discover the riches of the traditional Bavarian culture and the hospitality of the German people.

A little history
It is a royal wedding between Ludwig I of Bavaria and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on 12 October 1810 which led to the first Oktoberfest. The princess also gave its name to the fair which is organized festival: the Theresenwiese (the field of Teresa). In the beginning, it was a great horse race. Then came plug in an exhibition agriculture, fairground attractions and the famous brewers, the stars of the fortnight. Today, the Oktoberfest has become a giant fairground hosting the whole family for various reasons sometimes …

What makes?
Of course, there drinking beer! But not randomly. Needless to request a half, it serves only the Mass, ie mugs with a capacity of one liter. At the fair there are tents or drink is served king and the food: pretzel, chicken salad potatoes, sausages … The Oktoberfest is also great fun fair that will delight children with its rides, roller coasters and other firing the rifle. Bavarian folklore is not left since, in each tent, is a traditional orchestra by blackmailing beer lovers standing on the benches. Several major folk parades are also held in the city during the festivities.

The Oktoberfest, it is provided!
Yes indeed, two weeks of festivities require a minimum of organization. Accommodation first. It is strongly recommended to book his hotel room well in advance since the popular enthusiasm for the event. Transport level, the car is strongly discouraged as traffic is disrupted in Munich at that time. Of course, public transport, take over and are organized accordingly. We can absolutely consider participating in the Oktoberfest family. There are many family activities at the site and the Munich area really deserves the glance between two masses.
This year, Christmas breathes adventure and blue. Unusual or exotic gifts related to travel flooding the shelves. What amazed fighters as runaways. We must offer one that really hit home. Here are some ideas for Christmas gifts to help you choose.

The classic books and DVDs
Begin this list to Santa Claus with a gift that crève the screen: the last film Sean Penn, “Into the Wild,” sublime invitation to flee in large spaces. And to complete this romantic getaway, the sublime soundtrack of the film and the book that inspired the story, by John Krakauer. Also for lovers of reading: the essential travel, signed Jack Kerouac ( “On the Road”), Cormac Mac Carthy, or Jack London …

Gifts High-Tech
For men, this year is once again oriented High-Tech. And every year, travel is becoming more sophisticated. The technology comes at the heart of the tropics as Summit plow skies. For fans of jet-lag, the watch T8 of Torgoen displays three time zones on a dial hyper-stylish.

Journeys by train, often long and boring to live better with the DVD player from Sony, entertaining traveling companion for globe-trotters filmgoers.

As you recently announced is the time of “M-tourism: Christmas is the time or never to offer a GPS to fighters. To receive real-time information about the location of the holiday.

And well-being in all this?
And for women? The pleasure of the trip also involves preservation, however short, a certain well-being. Gentlemen, think of your beautiful coquetry: why not to offer a travel kit with the most sophisticated toilet: argan oil, stone and clay rose water … A box of practice at Lizou.

Original and unusual
For a really special gift, be indiscreet! Friends or relatives certainly have stored on their computer pictures of their last vacation … Make them a calendar from the best pictures of their collection on the site Photoservice.com. History help débarbouiller gray winter …

A must: the voyage gift box …
Offer a trip to gift box for Christmas has become a must in less than 3 years! A pretty box with a catalog where the lucky choose their own destination is the secret of this success! And there’s something for every taste: epicurean, living in trailer or how to drive sport, the choice is huge and you will inevitably find something to do fun …
