Phuket, Thailand’s premier beach destination, boasts a wide range of accommodation options. However, for today’s discerning traveler, Phuket boutique hotels can offer a truly stunning combination of luxury and style, international amenities and local flavor, unobtrusive yet impeccable service.
Standing out among Phuket boutique hotels is the Amanpuri, voted no.1 in beach features in Zagat’s 2007 surveys and offering an unparalleled blend of elegance, minimalism and luxury. The name Amanpuri means “Place of Peace†in Sanskrit and this resort was the first of the now world-famous Aman family of luxury hotels. Situated in a secluded coconut grove next to a beach bathed in the amazingly blue waters of the Andaman Sea, the Amanpuri is a collection of Thai-style pavilions and villas constructed with natural materials and serviced by some of the best staff that can be found in Asia.
Another stunning example of Phuket boutique hotels is the Indigo Pearl, created by famous Bensley Design Studios and featuring a fusion of lush tropical greenery, modern sculpture and industrial art. The pavilions feature private pools and a truly surreal design without lacking any of today’s modern comforts. Fine dining and sea sports are also on offer in what is one of Asia’s most polished resort experiences.
A member of the Small Luxury Hotel of the World collection, the Twinpalms Phuket is an amazing array of villas around a huge freeform swimming pool that gives the resort a Venetian look, with a decidedly Asian flavor. Featuring everything from cozy rooms to duplex residences with a pool on the roof, the Twinpalms Phuket offers something for everyone.
All in all, travelers to Phuket can no doubt enjoy a good selection of boutique hotels in different price ranges and with a variety of modern Asian designs.

I spent time at the phuket for 4 nights and I choose to stayed at the Indigo Pearl hotel. The location is Nai yang beach and close to the phuket international airport. The room was nice, luxury, clean, but cable TV did not work, for me this room was good enough and the bed made me feel so comfortable. The staff were really helpful and made me feel good.
