With so many travelers visiting Manchester, one of Britain’s oldest and most important cities, many Manchester Tourist Hotels are available. Pioneering the industrial revolution in the 18th Century, Manchester is a mixture of new and old, with contemporary architecture nestled amongst heritage buildings and famous places like Piccadilly and Oxford Road Station, with hostel style hotels for the younger crowd as well as more refined quality and affordable hotels and traditional bed and breakfast accommodation.

Within walking distance to the Curry Mile offering fabulous Asian dining, The Grafton Hotel is a simple 1 star rated bed and breakfast hotel in a Victorian style building, with a wooden furnished dining room, private bathrooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

On a more sophisticated level, the history rich Mitre Hotel retains its classic architecture as it was built at the base of Manchester Cathedral in 1815, yet provides modern facilities like cable TV. It is very near the city’s shopping areas and is family friendly offering babysitting services.

Another popular choice is the 3 stars rated Gardens Hotel nestled against Piccadilly Gardens providing excellent access to Manchester’s theaters, restaurants and pubs as well as the Old Trafford Cricket venue and the MEN Arena.

Guests will be pleased of their choice as soon as they enter The Britannia Hotel Manchester. The hotel has very nice rooms, with quality furniture and pleasant decor with attentive staff ready to assist you with any needs that you might request.

Manchester Tourist Hotels expand to include several higher rated properties like The Arora International Manchester and the Copthorne Hotel Manchester as well as the internationally known groups like Hilton and Marriot.

You omit the Hilton, which is a landmark in Manchester, with its sky bar worth visiting, and also the City Inn, which has recently been refurbished and is a great standard at a good price. Also worth considering is the Radisson Edwardian - compulsory for business visitors it seems but enjoying a superb location.
