Pattaya Beach OverviewPattaya has stayed at the top for many years when it comes to popularity among local and foreign tourists coming to Thailand. Reasons for that are the close location to Bangkok (just under 2 hours by car), the many and beautiful beaches, the superb dining opportunities and the unmatched nightlife / entertainment available here. Pattaya is also an excellent location for golf players as numerous golf courses are located in the vicinity of the city.

Pattaya has one of the highest accumulation of top grade hotels in the whole country. All major chains are located here, even exotic brands like the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya have opened here. There are also an abundance of cheaper hoels and guesthouses when you are on a very small budget.

The main hub of Pattaya nightlife is the “Walking Street”. Here you can find a lot of entertainment, shows, clubs, bars and restaurants. There is something going on here every single day of the week.

For the best experience find your Pattaya hotel directly at the beach. Nothing better than being able to walk to the beach in a few minutes and enjoy the fresh seafood you can eat there as well as the activities to do here. The latter include sailing, kiting, waterskiing or renting a jet ski. There is a ot of things available here to do.

Pattaya Hotels are spread along the main beaches which are Jomtien Beach, Pattaya Beach and the beaches on Ko Lan or “Coral Island” which is just off the coast of Pattaya and can be easily and conveniently reached.

Lots of other attractions await you in Pattaya including the Sri Racha Tiger Zoo, Million Years Stone Park and Crocodile Farm, Mini Siam, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Alcazar Cabaret Show, Submarine & Coral Island, Wat Yansangwararam, Bottle Art Museum or the Phra Tamnak Hill.

Stayed at A One the Royal Cruise Hotel in Pattaya last year on New Year. The room was quite luxurious and hotel facilities such as the swimming pool were OK, too but nothing special. The A One the Royal Cruise Hotel Pattaya had a New Year celebration. I had dinner together with my girlfriend and the staff took care very well.
