Tokyo means the Eastern capital. The city is the capital city and the largest city of Japan. Therefore, Tokyo is the heart of business centre and shopping centre. The city is bustle and hustle. Many local and foreign tourists prefer to visit Tokyo for doing business, traveling and shopping.
In Tokyo, there are many popular shopping places for tourists and shoppers such as Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro or even Ueno, Asakusa, etc. For example, Shinjuku is the business and shopping district in the west of Tokyo. Starts from Shinjuku Station, there are 3 main exits - take the “East Exit” for the high street shopping area, the "South Exit" for the Times Square Shopping Centre and the "West Exit" for the skyscraper and business zone.
Ginza is one of most up market area in Tokyo, Japan and the first area to modernize after the Meiji Restoration, featuring several Western-style building. This area offer the expensive shops and famous departments stores include Mitsukoshi, Matsuya, Matsuzakaya, Wako, as well as Yurakucho's Seibu and Hankyu. Also, most of the world's famous fashion designers are represented along Ginza's 5th Avenue. The Ginza is known for its very expensive clubs and hostess bars also.
Moreover, travelers who prefer shopping can enjoy in Shibuya, Tokyo. Shibuya is one of the most crowded places in Tokyo and the absolute capital of Japan's youth. This area is the ideal place for thousands of young Japanese to meet and go out. In addition, Shibuya is famous for its "love hotel hill", adult shops and bars in Dogenzaka. Shibuya offers a few regular department stores such as Tokyu and Seibu, but also miscellaneous goods department stores such as Tokyo Hands and Loft where travelers can buy anything from home accessories and cosmetics, even halloween costumes.
Modern city, Tokyo waits for foreign tourists and shoppers visiting on vacation or holiday.
