Asakusa, is in Tokyo, Japan. Asakusa is the low and old area which is one of Tokyo’s features since Edo Period, for visitors both Japanese and tourists. There are several of traditional places for sightseeing. The major focus of Asakusa is Sensoji Temple. Sensoji Temple is as well known as Asakusa Kann. This place is the oldest temple in Tokyo. It was built in 645. Numerous of temple and shrines are here beside Sensoji Temple in Asakusa such as Kaminaimn, it is the first or two large entrance gates to Sensoji Temple with free admission, Asakusa Shrine, it is also known as Sanja-sama and it is the most fabulous, Dempoin Temple, it is a temple which is next to Sensoji temple. Here you can experience the most stunning gardens. The place is not public, so visitors have to make an appointment. Beside those, visitors can find in Asakusa, other attractions such as Sumida River Cruise, Sumida Park, Rokku Entertainment District, Hanayashiki Amusement Park, Asahi Beer Tower, Taikokan (Drum Museum), Edo Shitamachi Traditional Crafts Museum are in Asakusa. Asakusa is famous for exploring it by feet. Visitors can enjoy every moment. Guide tour can be arranged and costs about 8000 Yen for two persons. Visitors can enjoy shopping for Tokyo’s stuff, Asakusa’s staff or any other for gifts. Nakamise Shopping Street provides more than 50 shops and it is just about 250 meters from Sensoji Temple. Shin-Nakamise Shopping Street or New Nakamise Shopping Street has various shops and restaurants arranged. Kappabashi Shopping Street is a deep street for walking through with shops and restaurants along to check and enjoy. Rox Department Store displays entertainment complex and contains a main building called Rox and other three annex buildings called Rox2G, Rox3, Rox Dome. There are 24 supermarkets opened including shops for fasion. Tobu Asakusa Station & Matsuya Department Store is the terminal station of Tobu trains with station building has department stores for eight floors. Asakusa can be reached easily by subway lines, Ginza Subway line, Asakusa Subway line, Tsukuba Express and Tobu Railways. From Tokyo Station, take JR Yamanote line to Kanda Station, and then continue by Ginza Subway line to Asakusa. From Shinjuku Staion, take the orange JR Chuo line to Kanda Station, and then continue by Ginza Subway line to Asakusa.
