Taipei 101 Tower: Tallest Building in Asia

The Taipei 101 Tower in Taipei city in Taiwan. The Taipei 101 Tower is Taiwan’s tallest building and the second tallest in the world. The Taipei 101 Tower has a height of 509 meters. Taipei 101 was constructed from 1939 to 2004. It cost US$ 1,600,000,000. The Taipei 101 Tower has 61 elevators and is perfect for taking a photo from the top observation deck.. It is located on floors 89 and 91. The Taipei 101 has a multi-use structure that houses retail facilities on levels 1-4, a fitness center on levels 86-88 use for communication business on levels 91-100. You can go to Taipei 101 station by using the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). There are many Taipei Hotels that are nearby or in easy reach.

The Taipei 101 Tower has a big shopping mall. In The shopping mall you can find fresh produce international cuisines, a huge food court with 1,200 seats, various international menus, plus leisure convenient shops, all in the basement. The Taipei 101 – 1st floor and 2nd floor has international designer brands and international popular fashion brands. The Taipei 101 Tower also has a big international conference centre which has full options to make a meeting or banquet.

The Taipei 101 has an in-door observation deck which is located on the 89th floor and the outdoor observation deck is located on the 91st floor. The observation platform has a general admission price of 350 Taiwan Dollars (about 11 US$).The concession ticket is NT$320 (about 10 US$) but free for children under 100 cm.(130 cm. for 91st floor). Lockers are available for a small extra fee. It is operated daily from 10.00 to 22.00. The ticket booths close at 21.15.
The observation deck is probably the most popular attraction of the Taipei 101 Tower as it provides the most fantastic view. Being one of the tallest buildings on this planet it is a sight you will not forget so quickly.
