Australia's Most Famous Zoo in Sydney

Taronga Zoo the nation’s zoo which is located on elevated land along the waterfront in Australia’s famous place, Sydney. It is the first public zoo here in New South Wales which is probable the most famous zoo in Australia. Taronga Zoo is one destination people should head to. Tarongo Zoo has the diverse collection of exotic species and also native Australian animals. The zoo opened officially on 7 October 1916.

Taronga Zoo holds loads of exhibitions or activities within a year and there are heaps of animals which are hard to find elsewhere. The zoo contains over 4,000 animals, about 340 species and 2,600 individual animals. Taronga Zoo provides their best services to visitors such as information sheets, foreign language, Animal presentations, Hot & Cold food outlets. From a place to place inside the zoo, there are Sky Safari rides around, so that people can take these to look around the zoo.

Taronga Zoo as well has Botanic point consists as 28 hectares of landscaped gardens and exhibits. There are nowadays 5 hectares which are maintained. Those are Simulation of Animal Habitats, Animal Food Production, Habitat Restoration, The Floral Clock, and Care of Special Plants in the Zoo Gardens.

Taronga Zoo is just situated on Bradleys Head Road. Public Transportations such as by bus and ferry are the most often way taken. By ferry is the way taking only about 10 minutes or a bit more from Wharf 2, Circular. By bus departs from Wynyard station daily. As well you can drive your own car. Their parking is able to handle for 500 cars. Taronga Zoo opens daily from 09.00 to 17.00 daily. Admission fee is suitable $25 for adult and $13.50 for child. Student and Senior are charged differently as $17.50. They have promotion $65 for 2 adults and 2 kids which this is kind of great way for family trip.
