Sydney Opera House. If talking about the Sydney Opera House, I am sure that everyone knows that this is the most famous feature of this city, Sydney in Australia. The Sydney Opera House is of course in Sydney, it is kind of the most famous city of Australia as well which is situated in New South Wales. Sydney Opera House is about 1.8 hectares of land. It is 183 metres long and 120 metres wide. The Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish architect Joern Utzon, cost about $AU 102,000,000 and it was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20 October 1973. The Sydney Opera House holds around 3,000 events in each year. Sydney Opera House hosts four auditoriums, showing music, ballet, theatre, and film performances. Studio is a new venue which offers contemporary performances. Sydney Opera House concludes five theatres, five rehearsal studios, two main halls, four restaurants, six bars, and gift shops. The five theatres make up the performance facilities. There are Concert Hall, Opera Theatre, Drama Theatre, Playhouse, and Studio Theatre. Sydney Opera House is administered by the Opera House Trust which is under the New South Wales Ministry of the Arts. It is the major tourist attraction for visitors and the feature of the country. It is close to the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge with the building surrounding of Sydney image. Sydney Opera House opens daily from Monday to Saturday at 9.00 am to 8.30 pm and Sunday for 2 and a half hours before the performance. Sunday tickets are the cheapest. It is located just on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour which is the best view ever both a day and a night time. Transportations are arranged. You can stop by around and take a walk for those vivid views to get to the place anyway.
