Collection of Tropical Orchids in Four Seasons' Zones

National Orchid Garden means just by the name displaying Orchids in Garden. National Orchid Garden is located in the Central Core of Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore. The garden opened in 1995, October 20. Here, visitors can find collection of tropical orchids in the world. It is called as well as the crown jewel of the gardens. In the place, there are divided into four zones. Those different zones present of four different seasons.

National Orchid Garden zones are contained by spring zone, autumn zone, summer zone, and winter zone. There zones are very great representative of each season. Mostly of visitors enjoy this part. As well other attractions are noticed such as VIP Orchid Garden, Tan Hoon Siang Misthouse, Yuen Peng-McNeice, Palm Valley, Eco-Lake, and outdoor concerts which are held on Symphony Lake. VIP Orchid Garden is the area of Garden’s hybrids with more than 100 orchid hybrids here. One of National Orchid Garden is featured by waterfall with bronze cranes from the entrance as well as three hectares on the highest hill are parts visitors should not miss taking photos with those stunning orchids-plants which are over 60,000 playing against the illumination.

Plus, there is the store at the entrance of the garden which is named RISIS Store. This part is where visitors can enjoy looking at stuff which is for sale as souvenirs and this is choice for gift when it is at the end of the tour. National Orchid Garden holds the Singapore Institute of Architects’ Handicaps Welfare Association Award for Handicap-friendly attraction in 1998. It reached a first for the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

National Orchid Garden opens everyday from 8.30 am to 7.00 pm. The admission fees are separated; S$5.00 for adults, S$1.00 for students, $S1.00 for senior citizens who are above 60 years, and free for children who are and below 12 years. National Orchid Garden is located in Botanic Gardens; it can be reached by SBS and SMRT bus transits with several of bus numbers along both Holland Road and Bukit Timah Road. Visitors can as well drive own cars. There provides parking at the Visitor Center Car Park at Cluny Road and along Tyersall Avenue.
