| The Singapore National Museum, open in 1849 the Raffles Library and museum, originally housed in the library of the Singapore Institution (later the Raffles Institution). The location of the museum on Stamford road and built according to designs by Sir Henry McCallum, opened October 12, 1887. From1906 to1934 various renovations.
