| The underground of Singapore is called Mass Rapid Transport or just MRT. There are two lines, the Northsouth which mostly will use if you live in the city centre and the Eastwest which was recently extended to Changi airport. It is amazingly clean and safe. However, it is very crowded during the rush hours just like anywhere else.
There are 48 stations on the MRT system, 15 of which are underground, 32 elevated and one on the surface. Major transfer points are at City Hall, Raffles Place...(More) |
