The Sentosa Orchid Gardens, opened on 20 October 1995 by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, is located on the highest hill in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. In the garden has 60,000 orchid plants comprising of 400 species and more than 2,000 hybrids. The National Orchid Garden offers the largest display of orchids in the world.
