Singapore and the mainland of Malaysia

The island of Singapore is situated off the southern point of the Malay Peninsula (in S.E Asia). A large causeway that covers the approximate 1km distance between Singapore and the mainland of Malaysia joins the two landmasses. There are road, railway and water pipe links between the two.
