South Korea has become one of the world’s leaders in many different kinds of things these days especially fashion, film and travel. Seoul, the capital of South Korea is a famous destination of tourists to experience culture, amazing traditions and places. Not only have the Western tourists who love going to Seoul, the Asians also like going there as well.

There are a lot of places in Seoul to explore apart from the South Gate which is the first picture that remind people about Korea. Myeong-dong is one of the places to visit when you make it to Seoul. Myeong-dong is simply a paradise for shoppers as there are loads of department stores there waiting for you to spend your money buying clothes, shoes, brand name stuffs and accessories. Bargain is a must or you will definitely regret it. The next interesting place is Gyeongbokgung Palace, the jewel Seoul’s five historic palaces that was built in 1395 which now contains the National Museum of Korea, features Royal Apartments and State rooms, gardens and elegant lotus ponds.

Another place to visit is Namsangol Hanok Village located in Jung-gu. The Namsangol Hanok Village is set among the skyscrapers, the Namsangol traditional Korean village. Visitors can not only explore the houses, but also enjoy traditional tea, shop for souvenirs, browse traditional crafts, or try their hand at ancient games like 'neolttwigi' (jumping on a see-saw) or arrow throwing. The last recommended place goes to Lotte World, the Seoul’s main theme park which draws about 6 million visitors annually. The park is divided into an indoor and outdoor section. Inside 'Adventure Land' covers acres of streets representing different countries, which are filled with hundreds of activities, entertainments, shops, restaurants and ongoing parades. Outdoor Magic Island, with its fairy-tale castle, offers thrilling high-altitude rides, laser shows and pleasant walking trails around a lake. There is also an indoor ice-rink and a fascinating Folk Museum complete with miniature villages.

There are actually more places to wander around in Seoul. These four places are ‘a must’. Your trip would not be perfect without visiting these places. Reading the text helps you to know more about the places more or less, however going there makes you feel relax and know more than just reading the text. So, why still here instead of getting your stuff packed?
