Portugal the country in Europe which is rectangle in shape with 561 km long, and 188 km wide. Portugal is located in southwestern Europe. It is on the Iberian Peninsula sharing with Spain. People here use their own language; Portuguese. Portuguese language is one of romance language. They have English or French as another language used. There are five main groups which are Northern, or Galician, Central, or Beira, Southern (Those are Lisbon, Alentejo, and Algarve), Insular (the dialects of Madeira, and the Azores), and Brazilian. Lisbon is the largest capital city in Portugal, and is the place runs in mind firstly and lastly when thinking of Portugal. In Lisbon is numerous of museums such as Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, National Museum of Contemporary Art, National Coach Museum, and Carmo Archaeological Museum. Life of clubs, bars is popular in Bairro Alto area as well great restaurants for huge meals with typical Portuguese dishes, and music. Oporto is another destination attracted. It is the second largest city with mostly visited for the Vila Nova de Gaia. Another great city named Coimbra is well-known as its ancient buildings, and the river of Mondego is attraction. The city of Coimbra is called as the old town, Cidade Alta, or upper town. Another famous one of the monuments is Braga. It views perfectly of historical, cultural of Portugal with those artistic building. Because of that, Braga is named as Portuguese Rome. Besidve these cities, there are top places in Portugal must be visited such as Vila Viosa, Obidos, Cabo da Roca, Portuguese foods are diversity. People love mostly dry. Main, and popular dishes are grilled sardines, and caldeirada. Meats are common recipes for typical Portuguese foods as well as feijoada, cozido a portuguesa, frango de churrasco, and carne de porco a alentejana. Wine is very common in Europe including Portugal. Famous wines are Vinho Verde, Vinho Alvarinho, vinho do Douro, Vinho do Alentejo, Vinho do Dao, Vinho da Bairrada etc. The capital city, Lisbon is as well great destination, and affordable city full of arts, and life. Minho, Lima, and Douro have the most amazing sites for natural stuff. Transportation is excellent. Portugal is a fit country to reach from a place to place. There are choices for transportation to take whether from overseas to the country, or each city around. By air is most common from overseas flying. By Coach is extensive offering by several agencies with reasonable prices. Train is operated by Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses which ticket must be ready in advance. Driving needs International Driving Permits and foreign driving licenses allowed. It says that this place can be the cheapest area in Europe with accommodations that is simple to find in most parts especially in those tourist areas. Portugal is the most famous to visit in summer. Also, spring, and autumn are romantic seasons to check. Even, winter, and summer in Portugal is not lots different; winter is about 14c, and summer is about 25 degrees Celcius. November normally rains until end of January.
