Phuket’s Weather is influenced by two main seasons. Posted by Mr.Michael Comglas on 13 July 2006 American Nationality |
Phuket’s weather is influenced by two main seasons. The wet season, from May to November, and the dry season from December to April. The wet season is dominated by moisture laden monsoon winds blowing from the south west off the Andaman sea. The wettest months are August and September. In the dry season season the winds blow from the northeast off the hot SE Asian mainland. The hottest month is usually March when the average temperature is nearly 34 c, The lowest temperature are experienced early in January when mercury can drop as low as 22 c. The weather is pleasant most of the year and a typical warm and humid tropical island. Sometimes during the rainy season the winds can pick up creating rough and stormy conditions out to sea and on exposed beaches. [Check the Phuket Weather, 5 Day Forecast - Source Yahoo Weather]
