Phuket is the largest Island in Thailand and including an additional 32 islands.

The tallest peak in Phuket is Mai Tao Sip Song (twelve cane peak in English). it stands at 529 meters and is part of the series of mountains and valleys running mainly from north - South and covering approximately 70 percent of the island. The other 30 percent is mainly flat plain and is located in the center and eastern side of phuket. Phuket has no major rivers, but includes nine brooks and creeks.
