Museum For Classical and Contemporary Fine Arts in Manila, Philippines

Metropolitan Museum of Art of Manila which is located in Manila, Philippines is impressively design museum for classical and contemporary fine arts. Metropolitan Museum of Manila has four main exhibit spaces display contemporary arts, architectural design, fashion, urban planning and other kinds of art works.

Several parts in Metropolitan Museum of Manila arranged for visitors such as Tall Galleries, the Upper Level Gallery, and the Catwalk Gallery. As well, there is an exhibit space with permanent exhibits. The Basement Galleries showcases the BSP Gold and Pottery Collections and Galeria Bangko Sentral focuses the BSP Painting Collection from 8th to 13th century. There is also two-level space housing the Windows into Haven Exhibit of the Russian Icons from 17th to 20th century.

Metropolitan Museum of Art Manila provides facilities for visitors to feel the best while taking a tour of arts in the place. There are Metshop by Bench which most of stuff are Philippine retail brands. The museum shop offers gifts, books, and curio and paper products. Visitors can get things for souvenirs at the end of the tour. Metcafe is a restaurant, café with tasty meal in the menu. There are Auditorium for about 90 seats available and Library for art books available as well. These places have to arrange the appointment. Besides these mentioned, as well Metropolitan Museum of Art of Manila provides great things to do such as The Sienese Altarpiece is a 14th workshop, Sansinukob is a large works by Paz Abad Santos, Juvenal Sanso, and Phyllis Zaballero.

Several conferences have been done in the museum such as International Gold Conference on October 2006, International Heritage Houses and Vernacular Architecture Conference on May 16, 17 2006. The museum provides museum tours for groups of 30 people, and art and culture tours for special art tours for groups of 20 people or more onQuiapo, Binondo, Sta, Ana, Malabon, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna de Bay, Tayabas, Batangas, Iloilo, Negros, Bohol, Macao, and else. Metropolitan Museum of Art of Manila is available from Mondays to Saturdays, 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. P50 for adult, P30 for children & students, P40 for senior citizen fee. Transportation run around.
