Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden is officially opened on 25 July 1959 located in Manila, the capital city of Philippines. It can be called as MZBG as an initial. The place is located along Adriatico. Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden has an area about 5.5 hectares with over 500 animals such as lions, tigers, or hippos plus it is a house of endemic and indigenous species of animals. Beside visitors can enjoy those animals, you can learn and explore life of those animal in an natural environment here in Manila. Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden is the center zoo in the city of country which most of visitors head to for enjoying these amazing animals.

Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden was taken for six years to finish by Municipal Engineers Office and several places were considered before building this place of Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden. Here is contained by lots of weird species of animals to be preserved in the place for visitors to enjoy and explore. Lagoon, Elephant cage, Rocky Hill, and Elevated Lion Den were donated by the Lion's Club, African Veldt, Monkey Island, 2 Large Aviary Domes, Serpentarium, Spectator's walk with Bridges, Greenhouse and Orchidarium, and the Coral Island. Nowadays, Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden has over 500 animals. There are approximately 300 Animals, 500 varied birds, and 100 reptiles are currently in this Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden. Houses of those lives are in different points in the zoo. Visitors can also enjoy Botanical Exhibits and Nursery and boat area.

Manila Zoo and Botanical Garden is where local students make it for learning, children and families can spend time together, and tourists to enjoy the local stuff in the place. It is the center and one in the capital city which collects most of animals and natural side. Manila Zoo and Botanical also arrange places for visitor to rest inside such as canteens or cafeterias for your meal during your trip as well as playground or picnic areas.
