Luang Prabang is the jewel of Indochina, South East Asia. The ancient royal city, Luang Prabang, Laos is surrounded by mountains at the junction of the Mekong River and its tributary, the Khan River. Mount Phousi is centre of the city, stunning views of the surrounding temples and hills.

For tourists who prefer visit culture and nature places in Laos, Luang Prabang is one of the cities offering those kinds of attractive places. The ancient royal city has dozens of temples and religious sites, both large and small. The popular places in the city for both local and foreign tourists are temples such as Wat Xieng Thong and Wat That Chom Sii, located in the south of the confluence of the Mekong and Khan Rivers.

Luang Prabang, Laos is the small city, and just about everywhere can be reached by foot. Walking and traveling by bicycle is also the best way to see the attractive places in the tiny city.

Not only have the attractions in the city, outside of Luang Prabang also had many attractions such as Ban Xang Hai, Pak Ou Caves, Kuang Si Waterfalls and Ban Phanom Village.

Pak Ou Caves is situated from Luang Prabang, Laos at the confluence of the Ou and Mekong rivers which are two caves, Tham Ting and Tham Phun that house countless numbers of Buddah images that have been left over hundreds of years by devotees. When you travel in Pak Ou Caves is take your time, you can relax and enjoy lunch overlooking the Mekong River.

Luang Prabang is one of the popular places in Laos and Indochina which offer many beautiful and natural places surrounded by mountains, the Khan Rivers and the Mekong River.
