Kiyomizu Temple, The Clear Water Temple

| Kiyomizu-dera Temple, or Kiyomizu Temple, which means, The Clear Water Temple was founded in 798 AD, but it was rebuilt many times, the most recent was in 1633. The name comes from the clear, pure waterfall from within Mt. Otowa.
