At the heart of Wan Chai, between Qeens Road East and Johnston Road Posted by Mr.Michael Comglas on 28 June 2006 American Nationality |
This is an excellent area to go shopping. Among its historic streets you can find a large variety of items. Spring garden Lane is the place to go for clothes at very good prices. The market area is aimed at the export market. This means that the prices tend to be very good, especially if you buy in bulk. At the heart of Wan Chai, between Qeens Road East and Johnston Road is a wet and dry market. This market serves the local residents and restaurants and is a fun place to have a walk around and sock up the culture. For furniture, heading along Queens Road East there are a number of excellent rattan and Chinese furniture shops. Most can arrange shipping back to your home country as well.
