Men's Street by Women's Activities at Temple Street in Kowloon, Hong Kong

Temple Street. It is just same as the name, a street which is situated between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Temple Street is well known by night market. This is one of tourism place or street in Hong Kong for both tourists and locals. Temple Street displays lots kind of stuff mostly cheap merchandise. Also, you can find goods such as clothing, shoes, bags, watches, and accessories. Stuff here at Temple Street can be bargained, prices depend on your words.

Beside the night market, Temple Street is also known as Men’s Street. The reason is because of there is the street of prostitution activities around in the testament houses. It is just normal to see those women wearing just sexy pieces of clothes. There are even rooms provided in this area of Temple Street.

More than those, Temple Street is chosen as a location for films produced in Hong Kong. Temple Street was used as a symbol for public life in Hong Kong. Queen of Temple Street was what the area chosen in 1990. Temple Street is also considerate as a crime street by gangster.

Local food is easily to find in the area. Most of foods are just on the street which you can order and eat. Or as well, restaurants are in the area which you can also order and eat in better circumstance in the place. They serve a wide range of local traditional Hong Kong dishes including seafood is kind of famous one. It is very suitable for dinner though. Prices are very reasonable.

Temple Market starts around 2 pm until 11 pm. It is not too late, but it opens daily. There is a bit crowded by people walking in the area of Temple Street to those Jordan and Yau Ma Tei. Transportation is fine anyway. Both subway stations are Jordan and Yau Ma Tei you can reach. Or if you want to have other mode of transportations are available such as taxi and buses at the time.
