The Star Ferry is a passerger ferry service operator which is one of famous attractive for visitors in Hong Kong, China. It carries passengers to across the Harbour, Victoria Harbour between Hong Kong City and Kowloon. It was firstly named as Kowloon Ferry Company. It was renamed after to Star Ferry. The ferries have linked the Central District on Hong Kong Island with Tsim Sha Tsui. Star Ferry service accrossing changes only around 5 cent for its service and it takes around 5 or a bit more minutes for its jouney.
There are now ferries which operate for four routes across the harbour which there are Morning Star, Electricstar is now retired, Day Star, Night Star, Golden Star, Silver Star, World Star, Celestial Star currently the oldest Star Ferry in service, Thinklking Star, Glowing Star is an ex British Army, Northern Star, Meridian Star, Solar Star, and Shinning Star is now used for the Star Ferry Tour. They carry for more than 70,000 persengers per day. The route is famous for visitors or tourists. It is also one of attractive point of Hong Kong heritage. Four routes for the Star Ferry to stop by consist in Hung Hom, Wan Chai Pier at Wan Chai, Star Ferry Pier at Tsim Sha Tsui and Star Ferry Pier at Central.
During on the haubour, you can take pictures. Even there are not much seeing the sky but you can look at the Hong Kong view, building and skyline is shown instead. Skyline should be the feature view when being in this Star Ferry in this Victoria harbour as it gives you different sights both times a day and a night. The journey takes only minutes but impression takes for all you trip in Hong Kong by this little transportation time. Meeting up with people in the ferry is great to chit chat as half of them are tourists, and another locals also use the service. It says that upstair would be more expensive, so if you look for some cheaper then get to downstair unless you just want to see the view.
One of old mode of transportatoin beside cars, planes, trains, and else. Ferry is one mode of transportation from where to where and which this way you can keep very amazing sight seeing in the haubour and it can be so cheap. As the earth link countries to countries by the oceans, seas, so that this way should not be forgotten. From where to where by this way can be longer, but take it as the best way keep the impressive moment slower by slower just like this Star Ferry in Hong Kong. Even only some times accrossing this Victoria Haurbour can give you vivid moment.
