Hong Kong has huge complexes dedicated to consumerism Posted by Mr.Michael Comglas on 28 June 2006 American Nationality |
Hong Kong is packed full of shopping malls. They offer the chance to shop in air-conditioned comfort and convenience. The MTR rail system has stops all the major shopping centres making getting around very easy and independent form the weather. If it is hot or raining you never have to leave the air conditioned world. Hong Kong has huge complexes dedicated to consumerism. They feature every international brand and label imaginable and items produced locally. Most shopping malls offer entertainment from the cinema to ice skating, and they all have restaurants. Often the selection of cuisine is exceptional with gourmet food from around the globe.
