New Year's Eve 2006-2007 celebration in China or maybe in the world. People will gather at

Causeway Bay and
Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront to watch the spectacular fireworks on the skyscrapers and enjoy the
Coutdown Carnival, where tens of thousands of local people and tourists gather every year. The most popular places are

The carnival runs until half past midnight on New Year's Day and will showcast programns such as physical theatre, music, dances and magic shows. Sha Tin Town Hall starting at 8:30 pm. The pre-countdwon show called, The Emperor's New Suit starts at 4 pm. There will be many stages, the Main Stage will have Latin music with waltz and a marching band, the Comic Stage will have children's theatre and clown show and the Synergy Stage will be playing Hip Hop and Jazz with Scottish pipes and drums moving in the crowd.
