Central district one of Hong Kong’s most famous landmarks located in the heart of Hong Kong City across Victoia Habour. Central is the major business district which full of commercial activities and many multinational financial services corporations have their headquarters in this area.

Every visitor to Hong Kong will at one time pas through Central whether it is simply sightseeing or business trip. Make sure you once look up in this vertical city or you will be sure to miss the Bank of China Building, one of the tallest buildings in Hong Kong nestled in amongst skyscrapers, providing a really bizarre contrast to the surrounding.

The most popular must do thing in Hong Kong is shopping as there are a million stores both on the street or air conditioned department provided. Queens Road and Des Voeux Road are the 2 major streets in Central and hidden in between the two are Li Yuen St. East and West, the best spot for bargains in Central. They are great spots to look for fabric, clothes, handbags and souvenirs.

Public transportation can be found everywhere in Central Hong Kong as the area is a major transport hub. The bus, MRT, tram and ferries serve you all day all night long. It is really convenient to travel in Central Hong Kong and the traffic is not that crazy compare with the other districts plus cheap. However, walking is also a good choice. Hong Kong is very safe and it is quicker sometimes if you walk as Hong Kong is so small.

Recommended hotels in Central Hong Kong go to Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel,
Island Shangri-la Hotel Hong Kong and Conrad International Hotel Hong Kong. These hotels are the destination of the visitors to stay. The quality is almost the same since they are all 5 star hotels. The service is friendly and conveniently to access else where.
