| Superbly located in the South of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as it was known before the Vietnam War is one of the most important commercial and tourists center in Vietnam, and it is the second most important in Vietnam after the capital of Ha Noi. The location of Ho Chi Minh lies between the northern edge of the Mekong Delta and the South Eastern region of volcanic red soil.
