The English breakfast is a large, hearty meal served in hotels and cafes to tourists. Toast, friend bread, butter, jam and marmalade, cereal, bacon, eggs, sausage, ham or other meat and fish are all part of the English breakfast. Fish are often served with bread and butter and/or scrambled eggs. In addition, an English breakfast is inclusive of fruit and fried, grilled or tinned tomatoes, fried mushrooms, baked beans and black pudding. Although not common, it is also possible to have chips or hash browns in an English breakfast. Grapefruits, yogurts and fruit salad are usually served along English breakfast. Beverages include the usual coffee, English breakfast tea, selections of juices, milk and hot chocolate. The English breakfast tea is the morning tea in England for over a century. The English breakfast tea, which was invented in Scotland is popular among the people of England today.
