The Northern end of the Gulf of Thailand Posted by Mr.Michael Comglas on 03 June 2006 American Nationality |
The Chonburi province is situated at the Bight of Bangkok, the Northern end of the Gulf of Thailand. An impressive range of mountains stretch across the north – west to the north – east of the province, home to lush and fertile plains cultivated over the centuries for crop growing and farming. The southern province of Sattahip is one of Thailand’s only deep water harbours bringing industry and socio economic dependence to the area.
