Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai is located in the north of Thailand. Because of people, flowers, weather and culture, so that it makes Chiang Mai to be one of famous place and nice city in Thailand. There are many attractive places such as Chiang Mai National Museum, Doi Suthep – Doi Pui National Park, Doi Inthanon national Park, Mae Ya Waterfall, Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, Snack farm and also many activities in Chiang Mai such as elephant riding, jungle trekking, Khantoke dinner, boat cruise on the Ping River and seeing elephants at work.

Therefore Chiang Mai has many traditional styles of hotels offering both foreigners and local travelers on their vacations. Travelers can touch the natural resort hotels in Chiang Mai and relax with facilities in the hotels. For example, Amari Angkhang Natural Resort Hotel, Four Seasons Chiang Mai and Belle Villa Resort are luxury and elegant resort hotel in Chiang Mai.

Back to the Lanna style city, Chiang Mai city. At the moment, Chiang Mai city has the newly luxury hotel which is Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi Hotel. The hotel offers convenience Suites and Villas inclusive great services and facilities such as the Dheva Spa, two outdoor tennis courts, fitness centre, a naturally landscaped swimming pool, fabulous restaurants and great business centre.

Also, riverside hotels in Chiang Mai are popular for travelers who dote on the charming Mae Ping Rivers. Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, Pornping Tower Hotel, Suriwongse Hotel, Sheraton Chiang Mai Hotel, Diamond Riverside Hotel and Central Duangtawan Hotel are all close to the river in Chiang Mai.

For backpackers, Chiang Mai has budget hotels or guesthouses which are clean, comfortable, convenience and attractive. Some guesthouses provide air-condition, swimming pool, color satellite and cable TV, telephone and private bathroom but some are share facilities. For example, Lai-Thai Guesthouse is conveniently located on the eastern side of Thapae Gate at the center of the city. It takes only 5 minutes to the famous Night Bazaar and only 10 minutes from the airport and train station. There are 110 guest rooms furnished in a comfortable traditional Thai style, with wooden floor, bamboo wall, and hand carved furniture.
