Forbidden City is called in Chinese as Gu Gong or Former Palace, but the English official name is Forbidden City which it means Purple Forbidden City. This is known as the Palace Museum which it is in Beijing, China and Forbidden City is recorded as the world’s largest palace with 720,000 square meters Hugh. Forbidden City has six meter deep moat and ten meter high wall for five halls, seventeen palaces, and other buildings. The Museum is surrounded by large area called Imperial City. Forbidden City displays very amazing views by the royal gardens and very Chinese style. The major buildings contain Meridian Gate, Tiananmen Gate, Gate of Supreme Harmony, Gate of Divine Might, Hall of Supreme Harmony, and Palace of Heavenly Purity. Forbidden City has separated into two parts. There are the southern and northern. The southern part or it is called as well of the Quter Court. It was where the emperor exercising the supreme power over the nation. The northern part or it as well called the Inner Court. It was where emperors reigning. Palace Museum is the most famous tourist attractions in the world, and here Forbidden City is one of Palace Museum which reaches visitors for all year around. Again, this Forbidden City is the world’s largest Palace Museum. Forbidden City took some times. It began in 1407 for the 5th of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming and Qing Dynasty. It finished in 1420 which took for around fourteen years by million workers. Forbidden City is now in used for tourism place in Beijing, China. There are not only catching visitors from aboard, but also local people in the country. Forbidden Admission Fee is CNY 40 during November – March and CNY 60 during April – October. The Museum opens at 08.30 and closes at 16.20 between months of November – October. And between October – November, The Museum opens at 08.30 and closes at 17.00. This is a bit strange. It usually takes three hours to visit all in the area.
