The Cement Jungle in Bangkok

Lumpini is the largest and most popular park and a green oasis amongst the cement jungle that is in Bangkok. It is the Thai version of Central Park in Bangkok. Lumpini Park is located in the heart of Bangkok at the junction of Rama IV and Ratchadaumri Road. In front of the park is the monument of King Rama VI. It is situated in where is a famous district which is crowded and traffic, but it can be released by walking here around the Lumpini Park. People go mostly in the early morning and late evening. Lumpini Park has it all whether trees, flowers, lakes and where you can take a nap.

There are around 25,000 visitors approximately a day and mostly 50 years old and above ages that have the same point to be here for exercise. Younger years old ages considerate this place as taking rest, singing, writing, and reading.

Lumpini Park contains many activities for people such as walking for health, jogging for health, aerobic, yoga, ballroom, etc. Lumpini Park means to help people in Bangkok healthy. It is the place for everyone, every gender, every different age, and every different career can enjoy this section and choices of activities you can choose to attend. Some sports can do here in Lumpini Park such as Badminton, Cricket, etc. Mostly it is suitable to do sports. Athletes use this place for their exercise as they think it is the best place both for your health and your mind released.

Musical shows are sometimes held in Lumpini Park. It can be argued by other people who want to be chilled in a quiet place or it can be enjoyable for them walking at the same time hearing the soft music. Whatever it is, Lumpini Park is the best place in Bangkok which you can relax and refresh your busy day.

Visitors who visit Lumpini Park for the first time should start on Sunday. Visitors who like to photograph, must take some pictures at the numerous play desks. There you will find old Thai and Chinese sitting and playing old boards. There is a green oasis amongst cement jungle that is Bangkok.

Keep Lumpini as a choice of your days. As well, there are attractive places hanging at night nearby such as Suan Lum Night Bazaar which you can have a walk for shopping handicraft, clothes and other stuff. Bars are available in the place too. Easy for visitor to find Lumpini Hotels or accommodations around the place as well.
