One might think that Halloween is an "USA only" event. It is getting more popular in Europe in the last years, but Asia? At least in Thailand, Halloween cannot be missed anymore, especially in Bangkok where everybody is anticipating the last October week every year. Bangkok has a lot to offer for all age groups on Halloween. Even for the kids thee are different areas where trick and treating is welcome (of course especially in the area around the American embassy). But especially for adults there are many events happening on Halloween in Bangkok.

This year one of the biggest events will probably be at the Siam Paragon, Thailand's biggest shopping complex that is located directly at Siam Square. Siam Paragon was opened about 1 year ago and is the most prestigious shopping center in Bangkok and whole of Thailand.

Also, one of the most prominent clubs in Bangkok, Astra on Royal City Avenue (RCA) is hosting the "Castlevania" Halloween party which will be one of the biggest events in the city. Expect people to show up in a lot of crazy costumes that will create a good vibe. The first 200 people that arrive for a special surprise. For the best costume, Astra will give away free tickets and hotel accommodation on Koh Phang Nga for 2 people. There are many other prizes that you can win such as club cards.

If you are still looking for the right gear, then don't worry. All shopping centers in the city are already stocked up with Halloween costumes and all kinds of toys and tools. A good place to start is always the Emporium shopping center that every year create special Halloween department with everything you could ever ask for.

So now you see that Thailand is definitely a country that is crazy for Halloween in every way.
