Grand Palace is Thailand’s most famous tourist attraction and is the most important place in Bangkok, Thailand. The place adjoins Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Grand Palace is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew Temple. The place is surrounded by a dazzling collection of soaring spires. Every surface is covered by a kaleidoscope of multi-color. The end is an overwhelming sensory overload.

Grand Palace consists of four large groups of building serving different royal functions. The first one is Wat Phra Kaew is a royal religious temple as I have just mentioned the name. The second is Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, the royal ceremonial complex. The third is the Borom Phiman Mansion, the royal residence and guest residence (This is a private zone, not a tourist area). The forth is the staff and governmental offices. Most attracts the visitors is Wat Phra Kaew Temple section.

Grand Palace is an amazing cultural architectural construction. It is a huge complex covering an area of 218,000 square meters. The popularity of Thailand’s King Bhumibol makes the Palace a popular spot with local Thais as well as foreigners who are under Thai land.

Grand Palace admission fee is 200 baht for foreigners and is free for Thais. The place opens 8.30 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 15.30. Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew are in the Banglamphu area of Bangkok is old spot. Grand Palace can be reaches by buses and boats are old transportation. As well, when you get reach around, you can easily move by feet. The place is unseen. A trip to Bangkok would not be completed without visting The Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand.
