BTS Skytrain, it is mode of transportation which takes you from one place to another place easily when you make it here in the capital city and crowned Bangkok, Thailand. BTS Skytrain is the way which we all need it especially for the locals and as well as foreign tourists as it is linked to many important tourism parts in Bangkok. It is as well the point to arrange and appointment.

BTS Skytrain offers 23 stations along 2 lines. The Sukhumvit line (light green) plies northwards and eastwards. It is terminal at Mo Chit Station and On Nut Station. The Silom line (dark green) plies termination at National Stadium Station and Saphan Taksin Station along Silom and Sathon Roads, the Central Business District of Bangkok. Both lines interchange at Siam Station and have a combined route distance of about 23 km. There are couple more stations which are planed.

Plus, there are three Skytrain stations which are linked to MRT Subway. These are at Mo Chit, Asok, and Sala Daeng BTS Skytrain stations. There are named Chatuchak Park, Sukhumvit, and Silom for MRT Subway stations. These stations are interchange stations connected by BTS and MRT.

Skytrain stations such as National Stadium, Sala Daeng, Chit Lom and Victory Monument are linked by Sky brides which it is an overhead pedestrian walkway that easy connects the stations to neighboring buildings and public amenities.

For Sukhumvit BTS Skytrain line, Phaya Thai BTS station has Pantip Plaza as a central point. Phrom Phong BTS station has a great park, Benjasiri Park as a central point as well as one luxurious shopping mall, The Emporium. Thong Lo BTS station is for Japanese district. Ekkamai BTS station is for the Eastern Bus Terminal gets to other outskirt places. For Silom BTS Skytrain, National Stadium BTS station is for sport stadium and the most famous shopping mall for tourists, MBK shopping center. Saphan Taksin is connection to Chao Phraya Express Boat pier.

This way makes life a lot easier as those stations get along the way to attraction places around Bangkok talking only few minutes from one place to another place. The fares range from 10 baht to 40 baht based on the distance traveled.
