The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) is Thailand’s most successful location for conventions & exhibitions. It is one of the most modern exhibition centers in South East Asia, featuring new and modern world class facilities to host events from small to large scale. The BITEC Center can accommodate events with 30 up to 20000 delegates or banquets for approximately 100 up to 10000 persons. The BITEC Center is well prepared to get more than 100000 visitors per day at its events.

The BITEC Center s conveniently located in the East of Bangkok and couldn’t have better access with all transportation means. This is quite special in a city like Bangkok, where traffic can be a major problem.

From the new Suvarnabhumi Airport, the BITEC Center is only 14 km away so it s very easily to reach by highway.
If you come by car you can easily access the BITEC Center by Expressway and the ring roads around Bangkok. As the BITEC Center is quite close to Sukhumvit Road, the city’s main large Boulevard style road, there are many hotels and other accommodation options available nearby. The nearest hotels to the BITEC Center are the Novotel Bangna and the Royal Princess Srinakarin Hotel.

If you are coming via public transportation, you can take the skytrain until On Nut station and from there, a shuttle bus service is provided that brings you directly to BITEC.

If you are really in a hurry or just need that extra bit of exclusivity, then you can use the helicopter service that is available from several places in Bangkok. This includes the airport, the UBC II Building on Sukhumvit Road (which is the office building of the BITEC Center), the Shangri-La Hotel and also from River City at the Chao Praya River. As you can see, there is plenty of choices to get to the BITEC Center.

The BITEC center provides a very sophisticated business center to organizers, exhibitors and guests. Services that are available here include photocopying, fax service, Internet, telecommunication, secretarial services, translations, printing service, hotel, limousine, flight reservations and Computer rental among others.

Even when you come to Thailand as a tourist you might want to check out the schedule of the BITEC as many interesting shows are on throughout the year. Most people’s favorite must be surely the Bangkok Motor Show so if you get the chance to see it, do it.
