The JR Narita Express Train takes about 75 minutes for the ride. There is also the convenient limousine bus available that, with 100 minutes, takes a bit longer but can drop you off right at your hotel. Public transportation in Tokyo is widely available and the area around the Akasaka Excel is no exception there. Taxis can also be called by the hotel reception which will also provide assistance on telling you the way to the next subway station or attraction. If you want to go shopping, then the best areas to do that are Ginza, Shinjuku, Asakusa and Shibuya. One of the most famous shopping ceners is the Shibuya Mark City, where you can see the newest Japanese fashion trends and many other things.
