With a total of 981 rooms, the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel is a big hotel that gives you the utmost in facilities and service that you can get in Shanghai. Located right at the riverfront, the Shangri-La has a prime location with stunning views of the city’s riverfront onto the famous Oriental Pearl Tower and the Bund.
The rooms are spacious and come with all the amenities that you can think of including such things as TV with international channels, Mini Bar, refrigerator, an electronic in-room safe, high-speed Internet access, voicemail system, IDD telephone and tea & coffee making facilities. The units in Tower 2 also have in-room fax machines with private numbers, 32 inch LCD TV’s and DVD players.
The Pudong Shangri-La hotel has world class facilities to offer in all areas. Recreational facilities include such things as 2 different gymnasiums, Jacuzzi, sauna facilities, steam bath, tennis courts and 2 indoor swimming pools.
The Shangri-La also has a fully equipped Spa named Chi that gives you a choice of several packages to pamper yourself.

The Deluxe, Deluxe Bund, Horizon and Horizon Bund rooms are all 40-42 square meters large whereas the Horizon Premier room covers an area of 61 square meters.
The Executive Suites, Executive Bund Suites and Horizon Suites are 83-92 square meters big and the Horizon Bund Suite is 92 square meters large.
The 3 most luxurious units are the Deluxe Suite (176 square meters), the Specialty Suite (193 square meters) and the Presidential Suite with 224 square meters.
Tower 2:
The Executive and Horizon Executive rooms at Tower 2 are the smallest units here but already 40-45 square meters big.
Premier, Premier Bund and Horizon Premier Bund are all 50-54 square meters big.
Grand Premier, Grand Premier Bund and Horizon Grand Bund have an area of 64 square meters.
Premier Suite and Horizon Premier Suites are very spacious with 94 square meters.
The Magnolia Suite, Lotus Suite and Peony Suite are all an astonishing 148 square meters large.
The biggest and most luxurious rooms of the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel are the Pudong Presidential Suite and the Shanghai Presidential Suite that are 201 square meters large.

The Pudong Shangri-La Hotel has a very unique location right at the Huangpu River. Coming from the Pudong International Airport, the hotel is only 50 minutes away and from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport it is only 35 minutes.
Overlooking the river, you have a fantastic view onto the beautiful Shanghai riverfront and the Oriental Pearl Tower, the symbol of Shanghai.
The Shangri-La lies in the Financial district of Lujiazui and has easy access to the rest of Shanghai through the subway system that is not far away from the hotel.

Gui Hua Lou
At the Gui Hua Lou, one can sample authentic Cantonese and Sichuanese cuisine. The restaurant has place for 142 persons overall.
Fook Lam Moon
Fook Lam Moon is an authentic Cantonese restaurant that has place for 156 people.
Sushi Bar by Nadaman
This is a Japanese Sushi restaurant at Tower 2 that provides Sushi in all its facets and in an amazing quality. It is a smaller restaurant with a capacity of 32 persons.
Gourmet
With 22 people capacity, Gourmet is a smaller bakery and confectionary. They make delicious cakes and chocolates.
The Lounge
At the Lounge you can order snacks and all kinds of beverages and enjoy them in a modern lounge ambiance. The Lounge has space for 49 people.
The Bar
The Bar at Tower 2 accommodates 100 people and provides a wide range of wines, whiskies and snacks.
Yi Café
With 330 people that fit in here, Yi Café is one of the bigger restaurants of the Pudong Shangri-La hotel. Yi Café specializes on International cuisine.
Nadaman
Nadaman is a fantastic Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy all styles of Japanese food.

I thought this hotel had a good location in the city of Shanghai. The Shangri-La Pudong hotel was so convenient with Subway and airport good to reach. Over all I have good view from my room with the view of the Shanghai's fanciful riverfront the bund. Also, I had a great view on the impressive Peral
