First all have to say that it was a perfect place. I chose the Best Western Phoenix because of : a shopping centre , cinema , large Boots store and down to Hyde Park corner , to Buckingham Palace and on to Westminster Abbey. This hotel is well located, just five minutes from a tube station & a ten-minute walk from Kensington Gardens & Baywater Road. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the service was great and the breakfast was more than adequate. There is a buffet style service with a good choice of Kellogg's cereals, croissants, toast, rolls, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. There is a PC in the lounge with internet access for a small fees. The room was clean. Well-furnished bedrooms keep to a smart international standard , with a palette of muted tones. Everything is designed for comfort and ease , including the luggage racks. Bathrooms , most of which contain tub/shower combinations , are a bit small but well kept. The bar is a good place to unwind , and moderately priced meals are served in the downstairs cafe’. |
