I stayed at the Avana Bangkok Hotel for two nights, where I checked in after I received a Bangkok visa upon arrival. The hotel is a lot closer to the new Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport than other hotels in downtown city so I decided to stay here. It’s truly a budget accommodation. Even though I made a last minute booking, I got an awesome room deal and it was very cheap. I didn't need all the luxury five star hotel facilities so this place was right for me. On the first day, I spend all my time traveling, shopping and dining in the main area of Bangkok city, away from where this hotel is located. On my second day, I stayed near the hotel and went to a department store.
Room at the Avana Bangkok Hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable. Amenities in the room were standard. Breakfast was good. I recommend this place if you don't mind being away from Bangkok central location. If you do, find an accommodation somewhere else because traveling can take forever due to the traffic. |
