service received for the price was more than i expected. facilities and room amenities were great. the emerald has 4 stars and this is definitely deserved. most foreign tourists would probably like to stay closer to sukhumvit but i found the location good. take the subway and you are on sukhumvit in 5 minutes so there is no problem. ratchadaphisek has an abundance of nightlife options so i didn't mind and would stay here again.
