Sofitel Silom Hotel Bangkok is in an ideal location for both tourists and business visitors and close to the Sky train which is handy. The best thing about the hotel is the service which is outstanding from the welcome, receptionists and concierge to the porters who fight a constant battle with the touts, tuktuks and rip off Taxi Drivers on Silom Road. They will get you a Metered Taxi instead.
Rooms are small but the beds amazingly comfortable with good views of the sprawl that is Bangkok. Swimming Pool and pool are small but typical for a business Class hotel. Restaurants and Bar on the top floors have incredible views.
Due to a late flight the staff even allowed us to stay later. The free drinks between 5 -7 pm are really good and the better views from the 27th floor up worth the extra. In addition the service of the Club Staff is so polite and helpful it is almost too good to be true. Honestly, I can’t recommend any better hotel than Sofitel Silom Hotel Bangkok. |
