I stayed at the Sofitel Brisbane because of its central location above the central station of Brisbane. Arriving from the airport was very convenient by train and there is an entrance to the hotel located in the station itself. Fortunately its location above the hotel doesn't result in any noise in the hotel. The rooms were pretty good. My room was facing the city and it was beyond beautiful seeing the Brisbane view at night.
The restaurant was superb for breakfast and dinner. I had the buffet breakfast every morning which inclusive of the room price and I couldn't have been more impressed with the food on offer. However, I did skip the breakfast a couple days just to have breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. The chef was very happy to make eggs and omelettes to my liking too which was great. The food was great and there was plenty of variety. |
