Although people tend to think that Tokyo is a chaotic city, I find it easy to get a peaceful place to stay on my long vacation there. Shibuya Tokyu Inn was where I stayed. The hotel was good, clean and nice accommodation in a great location. It’s very near to the MRT station and centre of busy Shibuya district and an easy walk to Harajuku’s shops, park and fascinating Meiji Shrine, museum etc. The staffs were always helpful. Most of them spoke better English than I expected. My room was not large, but had a large bed and pillow with chair and table, fridge, mini bar, small bath with shower, a small cabinet space for clothes, phone, clock and TV. The restaurant was just ok for me as they didn’t have many choices for western food but Japanese cuisine! The hotel was quite pricy, but you pay for the good location. |
